Barbara Bigford, innovator and artist graduated with a BS degree from Columbia University School of Oral and Dental Surgery. Early in her career Barbara practiced in the medical profession as a part time dental hygienist, worked as a QVC product demonstrator and exhibited her paintings as a Chester County Artist. It wasn’t long before Barbara became an inventor and was demonstrating her own product invention, Beach Pockets® on live TV.
Barbara Bigford’s success story is an entrepreneur’s dream. Her invention, Beach Pockets®, an umbrella anchor, have sold nationally and internationally to hundreds of retailers including Wal-Mart, QVC, SuperValu, Walgreens, Albertsons and created exclusive designs for Lilly Pulitzer.
Today, Barbara enjoys consulting others on product development and working in her art studio doing what she loves...creating art.
