Barbara Bowers Bigford is a business innovator and fine artist. Barbara created her patented Beach Pockets® her manufacturing company, Seabreeze Products, Inc. more than 20 years ago. Barbara and her award winning beach umbrella anchors have been featured in national magazines, newspapers and TV shows. She often shares her journey as an inventor, manufacturer and enterprising businesswoman in keynote speeches. She has also counseled students and aspiring entrepreneurs as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Villanova University. An alumna of Columbia’s School of Oral and Dental Surgery, Barbara is a former dental hygienist and QVC product demonstrator. Barbara and her husband, Doug, have three grown children and live on the east coast where her next projects are inspired by an abundance of nature’s beauty.
